giving 2 stars because the shipping process was easy and the plant was packaged well, but the plant itself is lackluster. the other plant I bought was in great condition, and i'm very happy with it!
i tried giving it a chance to perk up before reviewing because i know that shipping is usually hard on the plant. and i understand that all plants will have natural differences in size and appearance. the plant itself looks really sad and sparse though. calatheas can be fussy so i give the browning/yellowing of leaves a pass. doesn't feel like it was worth what i spent unfortunately.
My White Fusion Calethea arrived in perfect confusion and was very full and healthy for its size. I am very happy with my purchase!
Like others before me, my Calathea arrived with its soil bone dry and even though it was wrapped well in paper, about 1/3 of it was everywhere except in the pot. I was able to salvage enough soil to hopefully make it happy until I can buy more. I just watered it and hopefully it will end up doing well. I think it would be helpful if you marked “fragile” on the box so that there is a chance that the post office won't throw it around.
The plants are beautiful ! The only issue was the soil was dry and kinda got everywhere. The owner was very respectful and asked me for suggestions on how how to pack it better. Once I got them potted and watered they came back beautifully! I will be purchasing from them again!
Think I'm just one of the people that received the plant with half the soil gone so I had to take some soil from the other plant had too much soil.
